Nell Gwyn

Eleanor Gwyn was an English stage actress of the Restoration period.
Praised by Samuel Pepys as "pretty, witty Nell" for her comic
performances, she was one of the first actual females allowed to
perform female roles on the English stage. Regarded as a living
embodiment of the spirit of Restoration England, she was a long-time
mistress of King Charles II of England.
