Emily Dickinson
1830-1886
Fun fact: Any Emily Dickinson poem can be sung to the tune of "The Yellow Rose of Texas."
This is the probably the most fun of all fun facts. When I first learned
it, I went online looking for her poems so I could try it out. After a
few hours of singing out loud, I realized with horror that I had been tricked into
reading poetry.
How Lesbian was she? She never married and was close to her sister-in-law.
